First Step of Sarasota’s 9th Annual Caring Hearts Luncheon & Silent Auction will be Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Michael’s On East.  Each year, the Caring Hearts Luncheon features a silent auction, the Caring Heart of the Year award and testimony from a young woman who has been through the Mothers & Infants program.  The 2012 event is also being moderated by Heidi Godman.
 
This year’s Caring Heart of the Year award recipient is Ms. Emily Walsh Parry.  Ms. Parry is the Associate Publisher/Multimedia of The Observer Group, Inc. and oversees all digital operations.  She has been very involved with non-profit arts and service organization either through covering them as the Social Editor for The Observer or her service on many fundraising committees and boards.

Join us May 4 at Misty Creek Country Club for the 8th Annual First Step Golf Classic.  This scramble, which will have a shotgun start time of 8:30 am, will feature breakfast, a round of golf, raffle prizes and lunch.  Once again, First Step will hold the 3rd Annual Golf Ball drop in conjunction with the golf tournament.
